Interactive Communication – Digital Director/Digital Creative
Interactive Communication – Digital Director/Digital Creative is a one-year education that gives students a platform on how to utilize digital logics, turning them into relevant marketing solutions. Students learn how the contemporary techniques of interactive executions function regardless of language, geography or culture and how it function as a driver and innovator for other marketing channels and methods.
The education provides the knowledge base and toolkit, allowing students to work professionally at agencies as web strategists, digital planners, Interactive Art Directors or brand managers in both public and private organizations. The education is thoroughly integrated with the Interactive Communication – Creative area as well as other departments of the school. An emphasis is placed on working with real world clients allowing students to implement their knowledge in real world campaigns, work with real briefs and industry professionals.
Diploma Education Contents
The education is based around three blocks; Digital innovation, Digital landscape and Digital Channels, where the students are educated on the methods, tools and executions utilizing interactive communication as the starting point. This divides the education into a series of courses in; Innovation as a communication tool, Interactive branding, Interactive campaigns, Digital planning, Technical development, Design management, Web management, Content management and Information design.
Course Structure
Berghs Interactive Communication – Digital Direcor/Digital Creative program is entirely in English as of fall semester 2010. The education is one year of full-time studies that runs for one year Monday-Friday 09.00 – 16.00 but also evenings and weekends. The pedagogical form of the program is a mixture of lectures, seminars, workshops and group projects.
